one of a kind

who am i? the question every one ask themselves sooner or later, the question most people know the answer too but still question it. who am i? i am a person of many thing but i characterized myself as only one "CARING". My past made me who i am today and my present will determined who i will be in the future. i live by one rule and that is don't let your past dictate who you are, but let it be a part of who you will become. most people go though their life having those what ifs, what could or what might. I push myself into life and i give it a challenge and a fight of its life. my goal in life to make my family happy but most of all to make me happy. I want to pursue a career in law-enforcement, i love to help people and my goal is to help as much people as i can. i know things in life aren't free and easy. i also know that to get where you want to be, you have to not only work hard, but also have confident in what you are doing, my biggest role model and only person i would listen to no matter what is my grandmother and she always tell me never have doubt in your ability to do what you may think you can't do, have faith and trust in yourself and you can overcome any obstacle. one quote i like and i think is true is 'respect is base on observation, in order to get it you must first show it' that is one the biggest thing i go for and that is RESPECT, if you can't show people respect how do you expect to get it.

who am i? i am a son, a brother, an grandson, a cousin etc, but most of all i am ME.

The Stanford Experiment

My response toward the Stanford Prison study is that i was shock to see how these prisoners were treated. even though this was only an experiment it still was shocking. I understand that what prisoners do that made them end up there is valid but at the same time their still human. It was shocking to see how these guards became abusive and overaggressive against the prisoner. What was more shocking to me was to see how these prisoners started obeying the guards as if they were threaten just to get on their good side. It was sad to see how those boys were suffering even though it was just an experiment. No one should go through a situation like that even if its a experiment.
